“Change is eternity…”
I do believe in that phrase. Change is eternity. There is no absolute and constant in this world except the change
itself. Changes keep us moving, into another part of life. Massive
technology and globalization, changes so many parts of our lives.
Electricity, mass communication, television, internet, and facebook,
makes changes even faster than ever before. We cannot say again, that
lives will flow though the river of changes. If we do that, of course we
will consumed by change itself. We will only become followers or
viewers, than the agent of change.
Development is remaining journey; so that we keep survive in this
live. Development will lead to changes. Development can be move forward
or backward, positive or negative. Positive development gives human
ability to adapt within its surrounding. Negative development can
incline human to the rear, depression or even suicides.
And human being need organize them self into society in order to
become better agent of change. Human welfare is determined by
development of an organization. Better nations, gives its citizen better
quality of life. Better family organization, provide positive
environment to raise strong and great children.
People within organization is the “it” factor. They will lead
organization into better or worse conditions. Without positive,
imaginative and creative people, organization will enter to stagnant
phase. Or even slope to backwards, bankruptcy or death.
I do believe in planning. If we can conclude systematic changes, it
will stimulate well planned development which can lead us into positive
changes. Organizational fluid design gives the world rapid and positive
changes.
The change and development word, gives me insight about live changing
experience. As you may notice, I’ve been working in my organization for
almost three years. I with two friends of mine have one dream to
overcoming lack of health, mental disorder and poverty in Indonesia.
Within these years I feel that the steps that we have done is far from
the impact that we’re expected. So, I think I need quantum leap in order
to bring my organization into better quality or even great ones. I
really feel that this study provides me tools and help care to overcome
gaps in my organization.
I also have personal interest in women empowerment, especially in my
capacity as Bachelor in Psychology. I’ve been studied about clinical
mental health which can influence women empowerment particularly in
victims of domestic violence. In this research I found that woman as
survivor in domestic violence is fragile and severe major depression.
But, once I notice that women with better social support will able to
move one than the one who doesn’t. I have dream about organization that
prevent women from this disease. Give them power before the having
serious emotional problem. And, I think I can use skill and knowledge
from this program to develop it.
